The BMW 5 series is one of BMW's best saloon. It was released in 2011, it's assembly is done in Dingolfing, Germany. It is a saloon\sedan. It's layout is a front engine rear wheel drive or 4 wheel drive. You can get it with a 2.0 litre V4, a 3.0 litre V6 or a 4.4 litre V8. It's transmission is a 6 speed manual or a 8 speed ZF 8HP automatic. It competes with the Audi A6, Jaguar XF and Mercedes E class.
The slowest and cheapest one has a top speed of 133MPH and does 0-62 in 9.7 seconds and costs 30265 pounds but the most expensive and fastest one has a top speed of 155MPH and does 0-62 in 4.6 seconds and costs 57895 pounds. The good points are that it has good amount of space, it is fun to drive but still comfy and it has a big boot. The bad points are that you need to pay extra to get the best of it, the steering is not precise and it is not as practical as an Audi A6.
