The latest Mercedes S class is Mercedes's most luxurious car they have built so far. The latest one was released in 2005, it's assembly is done in Sindelfingen, Germany. It is a full size luxury saloon/sedan. It's layout is a front engine rear wheel drive or 4 wheel drive. You can get the latest s class with a 2.1 litre V4, a 3.0 litre V6, a 3.5 litre V6, a 4.0 litre V6, a 4.7 litre V8, a 5.5 litre V8, a 5.5 litre V12, a 6.0 litre V12 or a 6.2 litre V8. It's transmission is a 7 speed or 5 speed automatic. It competes with the BMW 7 series and Jaguar XJ.
The cheapest and slowest one has a top speed of 149MPH and does 0-62 in 8.2 seconds and costs over 50000 pounds but the fastest one does 0-62 in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 155MPH. The good points are that it has a luxurious interior, it is quiet and it has futuristic interior. Its bad points are that its options are expensive, it has large dimensions and that some of the tech is only available on top model.
